English Grammar: It is a body of rules specifying how phrases and sentences are constructed in the English Language.
I know it sounds boring, maybe it is boring. Listening to teachers drone in the classroom, it sure felt like that. So let’s brush up our grammatical skills in short and fun way.
Fun! Grammar and fun are miles apart, but let’s try at least.

Here we are going to try to learn about the following:
01)                       Sentence and Type of Sentences.
02)                       Subject & Predicate.
03)                       Phrases & Clauses.
04)                       Parts of Speech.
05)                       Tenses.
06)                       Active and Passive Voice.
07)                       Simple, Complex, and Compound Sentences.
08)                       Clauses.
09)                       Direct & Indirect Speech.
10)                       Punctuations.
11)                       Paragraph Writing.
12)                       Homophones
13)                       One Word of Two.

Certainly a long list, but useful in the field of transcription. Once you know what and how a sentence is structured and the basic rules of grammar, it helps to understand basically what a person is saying, because they follow the same set of rules most of the times.

Please Note: I am no elite grammatical scholar, but have put in a lot of effort in making this as useful and interesting as possible. Any feedback correcting me is always welcome at ramakant.salian@morningstar.com.
